3M™ Filament-Reinforced Electrical Tape 46 has a polyester film/glass-filament backing and a pressure-sensitive, thermosetting rubber adhesive. The reinforced construction combines electrical insulation with high mechanical strength and low elongation. Typical uses include lead anchoring, coil banding and end-turn banding in electrical equipment where a strong, conformable insulation tape is required.
