3M™ Polyester Film Electrical Tape 54 uses a clear polyester film backing with a pressure-sensitive, thermosetting rubber adhesive. It is designed for general electrical insulation and wrapping applications, including coils, capacitors, wire harnesses, transformers, shaded-pole motors and fractional-horsepower motors. The clear backing supports visual inspection while providing resistance to moisture, chemicals, solvents, abrasion and cut-through.
