Flame-retardant polyimide film electrical tape with silicone adhesive for high-temperature insulation and solder masking.

3M™ Polyimide Film Electrical Tape 92 uses a thin polyimide film backing with a pressure-sensitive, thermosetting silicone adhesive. It is intended for high-temperature electrical insulation in coils, capacitors, wire harnesses and transformers, and for anchoring leads. It can also be used as a solder-masking tape during printed circuit board assembly. The official TDS lists continuous operation up to 180 °C.
