AraShield™ Aramid Paper

AraShield™ is a high-temperature insulation paper made of pure aramid fibers. It shows excellent high-temperature resistance, electrical insulation properties, mechanical properties and flame retardancy, good flexibility, and good compatibility with various insulating varnishes. It is suitable for thermal classification up to 200°C according to IEC 60085.

AraShield™ can be used for sheet-type electrical insulation with high overload resistance and strong shock resistance. Common applications include inter-turn, interlayer and inter-end insulation in transformers, as well as slot, inter-turn and gasket insulation in motors and power generators.
