Ceramosite™ TF3

Ceramosite TF3™ (3mil) is a two-ply composite of 3M TufQUIN 3mil (0.076mm) mineral insulation paper bonded to one side of high quality electrical grade polyester film.

The TF composite combines the high mechanical and dielectrical strength of polyester film with the excellent thermal and dielectric characteristics of mineral papers.

These laminates are available in a wide amount of thicknesses, depending on the thickness of the PET layer.

TF is commonly used for wedges, slot and phase insulation in electrical motors. Further on, it is used as an interlayer insulation in transformers and coils. Its also viable for automated insertion processing.
