MS-143XD PTFE Release Agent / Dry Lubricant
MS-143XD is a PTFE release agent and dry lubricant supplied as a bulk liquid in quart and one-gallon sizes. It uses a rapidly drying, VOC exempt carrier solvent to support throughput and production efficiency, and contains a high-lubricity, low molecular weight PTFE fluoropolymer that does not interfere with subsequent finishing operations.
As a release agent it releases plastics, rubbers, resins, phenolics, acrylics, polycarbonates, urethanes, polystyrene, nylons and elastomers with virtually no transfer. As a dry lubricant it is used on metal, ceramics, glass, rubber, polycarbonates, elastomers and wood. The formulation is nonflammable, non-ozone depleting, non-migrating and non-staining.
Typical properties: fluoropolymer base, white particle suspension, specific gravity 1.58 g/mL at 25 °C, ozone depletion 0.00, VOC exempt. For fused coatings the applied surface is heated to 581-600 °F (305-316 °C).
